ks3 level: £26 per hourI have been tutoring now for over 12 years, both in London and more recently in Salisbury. I am also an experienced examiner for one of the major exam boards, as well as having experience of teaching GCSE and A Level English in schools and colleges. My students enjoy the more relaxed and personal approach that I offer, supporting what they are doing at school and focusing on their particular strengths and weaknesses and offering focused help towards exam success. In 2011 all my tutees achieved pass grades and many far exceeded their predicted grades thanks to the help they received.
Availability: Most students come to me in the evening after school but I can also be available during the day if this is appropriate.
Experience: 12+ years tutoring, 10 years examining (the last 5 as a senior examiner/team leader), 6+ years teaching plus graduate teaching experience before qualification as a teacher.
Qualifications: BA(hons)in English, MA in English, PGCE
