I hold a 1st class MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of London and am currently employed as an Engineer at a large aero engine manufacturer. I am a very amicable person and thoroughly enjoy teaching others, passing on my knowledge and problem solving techniques. I hope to be a mentor to many of my students. In my spare time, I utilise my PPL by flying to exciting destinations in the UK and Europe and enjoy SCUBA diving at various locations around the world.

I am a young and vibrant person who likes to bring practical examples and experience in to my teaching to make it more interesting. This approach enables students to absorb any concept easily. I would like to view a concept from outside a box to change and challenge pupils` thinking skills. Also more importantly I will motivate and make them to believe in themselves by proving that maths/science is discovered by mankind therefore it is not difficult to master.

I like to firstly assess the student`s needs and build a systematic, exam-focused plan. I ensure that my students fully grasp the concepts, give them homework and test them regularly.

Experience: I have been a personal tutor for over 3 years in the Derby and Derbyshire region and have a wealth of experience in that time, teaching students at all ages from Ks2 to A-levels and adult learners. Most of my clients were long term and I have a very close professional relationship with them all. I had experience teaching multiple students in group sessions and employed specific teaching styles for a couple of students with learning difficulties.
