I am a friendly, encouraging languages tutor with experience teaching French, Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL/EFL).
Having studied Modern Foreign Languages with French and Spanish at the University of Exeter and lived and travelled extensively, I take joy in bringing languages alive to students. I do this through working with their current curriculum of study and making it relevant through multiple learning styles, lots of speaking interaction, cultural insights, songs etc, as well as covering grammar areas and reading/writing skills that need brushing up, explaining and practising. I am very focussed on the individual student and their needs, level and learning style and love to see them improve in confidence and language ability through the classes.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long.

Experience: 1st class BA degree in French and Spanish from the University of Exeter (Russell Group), 2017.
Teaching experience and children and youth work experience (current DBS check approved with my local church for children’s work).
1-1 classes with French GCSE student seeing student achieve top of the class results after a series of lessons.
1-1 ESL English classes to Spanish students.
Small Group (3-6 people) classes of ESL English to Spanish students and adults.
