Vachi

My name is Vachi and I have just finished my third year, studying Mathematics, at the University of Surrey. I’m an aspiring Mathematics teacher, whom is naturally drawn to tasks that involve passing on my knowledge. Being a curious student myself, I want to share my passion for the subject and clear any misconceptions associated with it. My priority is to incorporate a range of different activities into lessons so they are as interactive and as fun as possible, where students have several opportunities to explore, apply and consolidate their knowledge. I can clearly explain and confidently break down concepts to help students understand and make links to something they are familiar with. Having tutored and mentored before, I am able to cater to the needs of each individual as well as groups. I have the experience to provide implementable feedback and will give the necessary support a child needs to achieve their goals. I’m organised, friendly and adaptable, thus will ensure that I inspire young minds and assist them with gaining skills that will enable them to solve a variety of problems.
