I am a fully qualified English lead teacher and AQA GCSE Examiner currently working in a Nottinghamshire school. I have been teaching for twelve years and for the last three years I`ve been Head of English. I`ve also been privately tutoring for eight years and have experience with preparing children for entrance exams at various private and grammar schools throughout Nottingham and Lincoln. When you employ me as your tutor you get our session time as well as all resources, marking, regular feedback and assessments. I am also available throughout the week outside of our session time to offer guidance and support. I am happy to work alongside your child`s school to ensure maximum progress is achieved for your child. My hourly fee is for one child, I`m happy to offer a discount for more than one child per session. If you have any questions, please don`t hesitate to ask.

Experience: I have twelve years experience of teaching AQA/EDEXCEL/WJEC/EDUQAS GCSE English Language and Literature. For the last three years I have also been an Examiner for AQA marking their GCSE English Language exam papers - this has really given me an insight into the new, more challenging GCSE exams and the expectations on the students. I also have many years of SEND teaching experience.
