I am an experienced language teacher, coming from Pomezia, in the District of Rome. My native language is Italian, followed by English, French and Spanish as second languages at university level. I am fluent in all of them because of later work/study experiences in England (exchange student in 2009 and MA student in 2014), Peru (volunteer in 2012) and France (Store Manager in 2013).

I am holder of a 1:1 BA in Foreign Languages and Literature (English, Spanish and French, Universita degli Sudi di Roma Tre) and a Merit MA degree in Education (University of York, UK).

I have been tutoring primary, secondary and college students since the age of 16, mainly in Italian, English, French and Spanish. My adult teaching career started instead in 2012, after obtaining the CELTA (Certificate English Language Teaching for Adults), which prepared me to employ the communicative methodology, a skilled transferable to any language teaching.

Availability: Monday to Sunday

Experience: My passion for languages has led me in quest of teaching positions in various educational settings, such as private tutoring first, private language schools and public after-school programmes secondly and, finally, teaching study skills and English for Academic Purposes at the University of York.

- Academic writing. Structure and argument in essays and reports using academic sources, practice and detailed feedback on academic essays, assignments and reports.
- Development of academic reading and listening skills.
- Support in presentation delivery.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
Beginner, elementary, intermediate, upper-intermediate
Adults and University students.
