Having worked in several occupations and gained a varied and useful set of resourceful skills I have decided to make childcare a long term career. Before I started my postgraduate studies (in Classical Theatre at Kingston University in 2011) I set about using my own experience and contacts to organise the creation of a new Theatre company aimed at young people in care under the authority of Birmingham City Council. This would not only include young people in the production of plays and scri ptwriting but also be performed to young people in a T.I.E format. This project was funded by Playwright David Edgar. I have since completed my Masters and joined several reaching, childcare and tutoring agencies where my specialities are in English Literature, Language and Theatre. I have a caring and accessible personality and pride myself on my resourcefulness, adaptability and passion for teaching
