I retired 2 years ago. Studied French at school but, alas, have not practiced since. Visited France several times and felt useless in not being able to communicate with people there. I feel that learning to speak basic French would keep my brain active and learn something extremely useful at the same time. Although there is a college on the island
it does not provide French tuition. I would have to go to
Canterbury which I am reluctant to do.
