I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol, where I obtained a first-class honours integrated Masters degree in Liberal Arts and the university prize for contribution to my studies. This degree allowed me to study subjects from across the Arts and Humanities, including English Literature, History, History of Art, Theatre, French and Philosophy. I also spent a year of my degree studying at McGill University, one of Canada`s most prestigious universities.

At school, I achieved straight A* at GCSE level, and went on to study the International Baccalaureate, in which I received 44 out of 45 possible points (which is equivalent to 5A* at A-Level).

My high-achieving and multi-disciplinary academic background means that I am very comfortable in tutoring across the Arts and Humanities, especially English, History, Drama, R.E. and Philosophy. I also have a proven knowledge of what exams boards are looking for in terms of meeting the marking criteria, and I possess well-developed techniques to help with the academic and psychological pressure of the exam environment.

Availability: I have a very flexible schedule, and can work both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to tutor in person or online.

Experience: I have experience in working with students in educational contexts, at all levels. I am a french assistant, where I help to teach students from year 7-13, and I have volunteered as a drama tutor throughout my time at university. I have also recently trained as an English Language teacher for students in Palestine. I am now combining this experience with my academic upbringing, in order to tutor subjects across the Arts and Humanities spectrum.

Education is a real passion of mine, and I believe that a student`s learning process should aim to help personal growth as well as academic expression; empathy is at the heart of what I do. I can tailor my tutoring to the needs of the student: we can make exemplar answers to exam questions, work through content they are learning at school, or learn an array of revision and exam techniques. I have also been recently DBS checked.
