I am Curriculum Lead for English in a busy Secondary School.
I have been teaching now for 8 years and have privately tutored for the past 4 years.
I absolutely love it and tailor my approach to meet the needs of my tutees in order to get the best out of them.
I currently tutor online only but the lessons are personalised and I also provide learning materials and feedback.
Availability: Monday- Thursday from 6pm
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I am a fully qualified English teacher, specialising in teaching KS4 and KS5.
I have up to date, relevant experience and have managed to support a number of my students to achieve grade 8s and 9s since the new specification began.
I am also an exam marker for AQA for English Language and have experience of marking both papers.
I have tutored many students and always ensure that lessons are tailored to their needs

Amy has been an incredible tutor to my son, and is also punctual all the time. She has really helped my son to sharpen his skills and improve his exam results and knowledge of English with her vast knowledge of the subject and with her excellent methods of teaching. Amy has helped me a lot by developing my English skills. She has explained how to answer questions properly in simple, easy to follow steps. I have seen a huge difference on my writing after taking lessons with her.
