Information about Talip
I`m a Syrian PhD Researcher at the University of Bath and a former Arabic tutor at the University of St Andrews with experience of teaching all levels.
Over the last five years I have tutored dozens of students of all levels, while currently teach politics at the University of Bath.
I will be more than happy to provide the first lesson for free!
Availability: Afternoons, evenings
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Here are some of my most recent experiences in teaching Arabic:
Catherine, 15, Level: beginners Arabic
Catherine has contacted me with her interest in learning Arabic at a beginner level and expressed her keenness on focusing on formal Arabic and wanted to devolve to a degree when she will be able to read Arabic comfortably and be able to progress on her own.
We now have one hour weekly and Catherine was amazing in her ability to grasp the language fast and make a rather astonishing progress in such a short time thanks to her dedication and work most of all.
George, Adult Learner. Level: Advanced Arabic (C1)
George was one of my students in the night classes in St Andrews and he moved to London at the same time I did, so he wanted us to continue where we left back at the University. We are currently doing one hour a week and I make sure to keep him in touch with the language by sending him links to articles and videos which he can translate and then we can work on them later when we meet.
