Information about Sadhna

Hello everyone! First of all I`d like to thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I hope that my extensive skills and wealth of experience can offer the support you and your child are looking for!

By profession, I am a fully qualified primary school teacher. Having qualified in Scotland with a Post Graduate Diploma (PGDE) in Education, I have experience of teaching across a variety of stages, ranging from infants to juniors and seniors (equivalent to reception, KS1 and KS2 in England). I am currently GTC registered and have successfully achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Furthermore, I have qualified with a BSc in Biomedical Science (2:1 honours degree).

I am a respectful, friendly and approachable person. I work well with others and am committed to meeting children’s needs regardless of their background or any challenges they may bring. I have experience of supporting children who speak English as an additional language (EAL). I have previously worked with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD or are on the autistic spectrum, as well as children with severe emotional and behavioural issues. Furthermore, I have experience of teaching and supporting children with additional support needs such as visual impairment, chromosome disorder, foetal alcohol syndrome, type 1 diabetes and dyslexia. I believe it is essential to build a strong foundation of trust and respect as this helps establish a good network of support and communication with children and parents. From my experience, sometimes all children need is to build up their confidence in developing their Literacy and Numeracy skills. Through offering tutoring on a one to one basis, I would like to help children believe in themselves and achieve success in their learning. I aim to help them realise and reach their full potential.

Please get in touch if you believe this is what you are looking for! I hope to hear from you soon! Good luck in your search. Take Care.

Kind Regards,

Sadhna
