1-1 Maths tutoring up GCSE Level.
My name is Marie and I have been tutoring Mathematics for over 10 years now, specialising in providing a personal service for those students who need help in their knowledge, techniques and passion for Mathematics.
I am a engineer in the defence sector, with a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering so I have been doing Mathematics all my life. I used to be an examiner for the GCSE prior to the 9-1 modification. I have a very good knowledge of all exam boards.
I currently have a 100% pass rate with an average GCSE grade attainment of a 7.
I prefer online but I am able to travel if required.
Availability: After school, preferably evenings.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I am currently working as an engineer in the defence sector.
I have been tutoring since studying mathematics and engineering at university and so have over 7 years of experience teaching Mathematics. I have transitioned many of my students from Year 7 to the new 9-1 GCSE Mathematics structure. I am passionate and enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge of maths to all my students - especially those who shudder at the thought of maths!

Marie is a wonderful, excellent tutor She helped my daughter build her self confidence in her math skills starting with her from the basics as my daughter never believed that she could understand math one day but with Marie everything changed for her , she’s very happy with Marie and has jumped to a very different and better level of understanding Many Thanks Marie
