My name is Kate and I`m a mother of three and very experienced and successful English teacher with an MSc in Psychology. I have been a Faculty Leader and Lead Practitioner for eleven years. I have tutored from KS3 to Graduate level for over 12 years. I have taught Drama, English Language, English Literature and Film to A Level with great success for several years.

I am interested in dyslexia and reading recovery and am adaptable and innovative in my approaches to teaching each pupil as their needs dictate. The results pupils have achieved in my mixed ability classes are outstanding and I am a school leader in pedagogy and curriculum development. I have extensive experience as an examiner in English Literature and Language for two examination boards.

I currently have limited places for tutees at GCSE and A Level but will do my best to accommodate where I can.
