Remote learning and mentoring are two things I have experienced my fair share of, so I understand the difficulties many students have faced recently. Therefore, our sessions will be interactive and focussed, on your terms, and I`ll be there to help in any way I can. I am friendly, accomodating and flexible, and will assist you with the areas you feel need developing. I am happy to support university students, alongside guiding those studying A level and GCSE English. I love my subject, so I hope I can help you develop your own passion and understanding for English too!
I am a qualified Secondary English teacher, with a first class degree in English Literature with Creative Writing, and I am here to help!

Experience: I have 2 years of mentoring experience, working with a wide range of students at university to support them with assignments. I have been an editor for my university newspaper and reviewed live performances with Venue Cymru. Most recently, I have received a first class degree in English Literature with Creative Writing from Bangor University and qualified as a Secondary English teacher with a PGCE and QTS from the University of Sussex. I have been a teaching assistant in a special needs primary school for boys and in a specialist college for students excluded from their previous schools, and I have taught as an English teacher in 2 comprehensive secondary schools, where the English exams are with the AQA exam board.
