Information about Saffron
I’m Saffron, age 22 and a Civil and Structural Engineering masters graduate.
I like to be as flexible as I possibly can be when it comes to my lesson style. I would love students to be able to come to the lesson with fresh questions every week and that to be the focus of the session. I would always prepare a topic just incase the student didn’t have any questions for the session.
The typical length of a session would be an hour, however, I have the ability to be flexible and if desired I could do shorter 30 minute sessions or longer 2 hour ones.
Availability: I am available weekdays and Saturday mornings before 11am.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have recently graduated with a 1st in Civil Engineering (masters degree) and have a good understanding of maths at both GCSE and A-Level standard- achieving an A* at GCSE and an A in A-Level. Grades aside, I have previous experience tutoring as I volunteered to tutor GCSE students when I was studying for my A-Levels and am currently tutoring 16 students at different levels.

I did try to book lesson with miss Safron, but unfortunately there was always cancellation, from her side two or three times she did change the time lesson. And to the end I just find someone else, it was very unprofessional in my opinion.

Saffron has been a godsend for my daughter. My daughter has Dyscalculia and struggled with maths all her life. It’s been such a relief to find a tutor who treats her as the intelligent person she is, whilst helping her to improve her confidence in maths. We will be continuing with Saffron throughout her maths GCSE course.
