I have just retired as a head of Biology teaching Biology to A level, GCSE and key stage 3 and Chemistry to GCSE and key stage 3. I have a wide range of experience teaching in schools and in a 6th form college .
I am also an experienced assistant examiner for GCSE Biology and Sciences. I presently mark GCSE and IGCSE Biology, IGCSE Environmental Science and GCSE Additional Science exam papers which gives me a lot of insight into what candidates are expected to know for the exams and what is required for a good answer achieving all marks possible. I also write multiple choice questions for IGCSE.
Availability: 12pm -1pm Tuesday
9am - 1pm Wednesday
11-1pm Sunday.

Julie has been teaching me biology since the start of my second year of A-Levels. Before, I was struggling a lot with A-Level Biology and was not receiving the help I needed from school. However, after starting my lessons with Julie, I have gone up by two grades in biology. Julie teaches everything slowly and thoroughly so you have a very good understanding in that specific subject and most importantly, helps you to love the subject. Whether or not you have a question, she will always make sure to ask! Julie is an amazing teacher and anyone who is taught by her is very lucky!

Julie has been fantastic with my daughter helping on both GCSE Chemistry and Biology. She is very personable and explains the topics very clearly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for assistance in those subjects.
