Information about Wayne
I am a caring and nurturing teacher. I currently work as a special needs teacher, have been Head of department for three years and have taught up to A Level. I have obtained a range of qualifications, including CELTA (Teaching English as a Second Language), PGCE (QTS) BSc Hons.
I tailor lessons with the child in mind, helping to achieve their full potential. I use a range of teaching methods to help develop and reinforce knowledge and understanding.
From my experiences, I have found that some children may be anxious about exams oe their school work and I aim to reduce these levels of anxieties but providing them with coping mechanisms, this is an area I am passionate about having recently completed a Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Lessons can take place in the parental home or library.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Our daughter has had lessons with Wayne for 2.5 months now. We are very pleased with the way Wayne teaches her, he is encouraging, but sets her certain framework and requirements. Wayne is always courteous and punctual.

Wayne is friendly and enthusiastic. He is making my son feel much more confident about his IT course work and exam.
