I am an experienced Primary School Teacher who had recently moved to South East Cornwall. I graduated from the University of Plymouth with first class honours where I studied a Bachelor of Education degree. Since then, I have taught all primary years across Key Stage 1 and 2 and I have most recently been teaching in a school in Dorset as a Year 6 teacher.

I am intensely enthusiastic about teaching and working with young people and am highly motivated and dedicated to ensuring that all children achieve their absolute best. I am a kind-hearted and fun tutor, I always plan my lessons to be exciting and engaging, making certain that they are well supported, have good pace, and engage and challenge all children.

I have experience in working with children with additional needs and working with them to identify their next steps through a calm and patient approach. I love working with children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis as this allows me to quickly assess any difficulties children are having in their learning and therefore adapt my teaching style specifically, depending on the needs of each individual.
I have experience in all subjects at primary level, in particular English, reading and mathematics, and as a recent Year 6 teacher, I have extensive experience of KS2 SATs teaching and assessment.
