Hi!
My name is Khalil and I`m a fifth year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I`m very passionate about medicine and hope to specialise in cardiology. I completed my undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Physiology, Development and Neuroscience) with a research project investigating the mechanisms underlying cardiac arrhythmias. Medical school and oxbridge applications are extremely competitive, and students are required to achieve high scores in their A-Levels, entrance exams, personal statements and interviews. Going through these steps myself I managed to achieve 5 A* in my A-Levels (UMS scores >98%; Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, EPQ), competitive UKCAT and BMAT scores, and received offers from all the universities I applied to. Having successfully gone through the application process myself with excellent scores I am confident I can help students to achieve high grades and excel in all aspects of the application.

Experience: I have a lot of experience tutoring students in a variety of subjects at different levels ranging from GCSEs to university students:
- I supervise first year medical and veterinary students at the University of Cambridge in epidemiology, research methods, and medical statistics. This involves consolidating the lecture material, exploring complex topics and their practical applications, and exam preparation.
- A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology) and GCSE (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) tutor- I tutored 14-17 year old students in these subjects during weekly sessions. These involved explaining the material, working through problems and exam preparation.
