I am a full-time tutor with a background in psychology, academic research and data analytics, based in Yorkshire. I graduated from York St John University with a first class Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2018, and continued my dissertation research to gain my Master’s degree in 2020. I have spent over eight years actively studying psychology, and a further four years applying that knowledge to roles within marketing, business intelligence and economic strategy.

Academically, my main area of interest is in the field of social psychology, particularly relating to social perceptions and how these can be influenced by physical appearance and facial structure. My postgraduate thesis aimed to investigate the relationship between facial maturity and perceptions of competence, as well as how this relationship could have been influenced by an individual’s job, gender, attractiveness, and other personality characteristics. My areas of expertise also include research methods; intelligence and personality testing; study skills; and both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Additionally, during my undergraduate degree, I covered specialised modules in clinical, evolutionary and animal psychology.

Experience: I have an in-depth knowledge of psychology from both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and have been tutoring A-level psychology for five months with consistently high ratings.
