How To Organise English Literature Paragraphs
Date : 01/02/2023
One of the things students find most challenging is how to put their words on paper. When you have a conversation with students about the texts they study, their knowledge is often much better than they believe. It just doesn`t look that way when they write it in a disorderly and vague structure.
The best way that I have found to deal with this is using the structure:
What is it about?
How do I know?
Why does the writer make certain methods? Why is the writer doing this?
If each paragraph can answer these three questions (in this order) - then it is likely that your child will already have made miles of progress!
This is something that I guide students through in my sessions, so feel free to ask me any questions.
