Biology : Expanding Its Horizon

Biology is an ever increasing field of Science. Diversified fields of biology has amalgamated with other Scientific fields to create an interdisciplinary approach towards research. The emergence of Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Genetic Epidemiology and Pharmacogenomics has increased our understanding of Biology from a different perspective. Though we are moving towards the interdisciplinary approach of learning biology but it is the classical fields like Botany, Zoology and Medicine that lies in the heart of these fields. Biology has also stepped into the fields of Nanotechnology and Electronics.

In today`s world, Biology has expanded its branches almost everywhere and would continue to do so in near future as well. I think that good understanding of basic concepts is the absolute necessity for the process of preparing our generation to develop an intellect towards research.
