What is statistics? Statistics is the use of information (known as data) to make a decision where the outcome is not certain.

What type of decision? Well statistics can and is used in all walks of life. Whether it be marketing of your favourite toothpaste or working out when a mother is going to be most fertile, to what the whether is going to be like tomorrow.

Statistics drive commercial, investment, social, economic decisions to name a few.

The process of taking seemingly random pieces of information and deriving a decision is called analysis.

Statistics and analysis are skills highly in demand in the modern world where the amount of recorded data exponentially increases and technology becomes faster and more sophisticated.

So I would say the Power of Statistics is that ultimately it will help to shape all of our futures.
