My vision is that, by 2020, primary school children who have taken part in Life Skills, program will be progressing through the education system with a greater knowledge and understanding of the world around them, we want to nurture positive, independent individuals who are going to be able to make valuable contributions within the wider community and society. Embedding a desire for learning and the skills, aspirations, confidence and values for children to make the most of their adult lives. Philosophy and practice - How does Life Skills support learning? Life Skills allows primary school children to learn practical skills, discover personal interests and develop values that make them excited about learning and what they can achieve in the future, benefitting their adult relationships and working lives. By enhancing and extending the way priorities for children's health and well-being can be applied in primary school, In particular:

Involving and supporting parents in strategies to promote Healthy Eating .Encouraging young children to grow their own fruit and vegetables .Encouraging preparation of food and cooking for themselves .Recognising and requesting assistance when required .Ensuring that children have the appropriate skills, attitudes and confidence to become active, enthusiastic and independent learners

I believe that the positive impact on everyone involved is about planning and working together and there's a great sense of sharing and empathy, a real community spirit.

I look forward to working with you or as a family unit.

Kind regards Natalie
