I am the Head of Religious Studies and Philosophy and Ethics department at a large Surrey secondary school. I have expertise and years experience of teaching RS and philosophy at A-level with a variety of different exam boards and have come from teaching at a high achieving grammar school. I teach over 70 sixth form students and have a wide subject knowledge expertise base.

As well as helping students with content, I have been an examiner and I can teach students how to structure strong and successful essays. Whilst content is crucial, the use of connectives and triggers words and strong link phrase can also be impact full. The difference between grades is often defined by clarity or writing style and and the flow and readability of answers. I will offer tried and tested guidance on all of this as well as tailored and individualised support. One-to-one support is part and parcel of my job everyday.
