Tutor Hunt is an online community designed to bring students and tutors together. Our aim is twofold: to find the perfect teacher for every student who comes to our site; and also to allow tutors to present their teaching accreditations to a large number of pupils.

For Students
Parents and students have, for too long, been hampered by the lack of any efficient way to find a good, reliable tutor. The usual technique has been a word of mouth inquiry amongst friends, asking if anybody knows of a competent tutor - perhaps the search extended as far as a flick through the phone book, or perusing the cards displayed in newsagent's windows. The choices offered by these cumbersome inquiries will hardly have been broad in scope, and so you may have been forced settle for someone you would not have chosen, had your options been more varied. Here at tutor Hunt we list the contact details of thousands of tutors. You can easily list these by subjects taught - we have so many skilled teachers registered with us that our range of subjects is extremely broad: everything from martial arts, to mathematics, and piano, to philosophy is on offer! Each tutor will have their own profile page -here you will clearly be able to see their qualifications, their prices charged per hour, a photograph of them, and some personal details. You will be able to see how long the tutor has been active on Tutor Hunt, and obtain feedback from other pupils. By having so many tutors on our listings, we are confident that for every student who comes to our site, we have for them the perfect tutor.

For Tutors
If you are a tutor, and are thinking about registering with Tutor Hunt, we have much to offer you. By creating a profile page on our site, you will be advertising your tuition services to thousands of students. Your profile page will clearly list your qualifications, the subjects you are offering to teach, the academic level you can teach up to (GCSE, A level, degree level etc), and the price per hour you charge. You can also specify a catchment area - a zone you are willing to travel to, in order to meet with your pupils.
