I have been a D&T and STEM teacher at high performing state, grammar and independent day and boarding schools in the South East of England for the past 10 years. Before that I had been a qualified Graphic Designer working in both Europe and Africa.

3 years experience of designing and implementing Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) programs in UK schools.
2 years teaching primary numeracy and literacy skills to indigenous students in rural Zimbabwean schools.
2 years experience of designing and implementing primary education programs in rural Zimbabwean schools.
10 years experience of designing, implementing and evaluating education solutions in UK schools.
10 years experience of designing, implementing and evaluating digital solutions for Government, NGOs, Universities and the private sector in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
Experience of high-level collaboration with various stakeholders ranging from rural communities, local government, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Government Departments, up to and including national Governments.
Languages: English (fluent), very basic: French; Arabic; Afrikaans and Ndebele.
Countries of with significant cultural experience: UK, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya and the UAE.
NB: All sessions are for one student only and are charged by the hour - there is no pro rata rate.
Although not recomemnded, I can teach more than one student in a session, however dual sessions suit pre-exam revision rather than the teaching of new content.
Extra students are charged an additional 50% of my hourly fee per student.
Caveat: Students must at the same academic level before I agfree to dual sessions.
I temporarily can`t travel but when I can, I will travel. I charge 0.45 GBP mileage (plus parking charges) outside of the N parking zone (Hove).

I specialise in teaching students intellectual and practical skills at KS3, GCSE, A-level, Diploma and Degree levels in Design and Technology, Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Graphic Design, Advertising and Marketing.
I have over 5 years experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and IB Product Design and Graphic Design at various high performing schools.
I have many years of commercial design industry experience, gained in both the UK and Africa, as a Graphic Designer, Advertising Typographer, Photographer and as a Web/New Media Designer.
I`ve worked in state schools, independent day & boarding schools, PRU`s and residential children`s homes catering to boys with SEMH difficulties.
