Information about Liz
Fully qualified teacher with a wealth of experience gained both in the classroom and tutoring. Ex Girl Guide Leader Play scheme Leader genuine love of children.
I`ve been teaching for many years and have experience in primary and secondary, private and state schools, as well as e2e education for 16-19 year old NEET`s. I have a Fully Enhances CRB.
I`m bubbly, enthusiastic, fun-loving and out-going, with compassion for youngsters and a desire to help them maximise their potential. I have a passion for helping people and want to make a difference in people`s lives. I think that for many of our youngsters, school is not always the happy place we`d like it to be and often, they lack the support to gain confidence in their work.
I`m a qualified Counsellor and have a good understanding of young people, particularly those who are struggling for one reason or another.
I`m proud to have enabled a group of students with special needs to achieve their GCSE in Citizenship and that my RE GCSE group achieved a pass rate of 82% which was double the rest of the year group.
At the moment, during the daytime, I work for 2 Local Authorities with students who are not currently as school for medical/emotional reasons and am finding it enormously rewarding to watch their confidence and ability grow.
Many of the students I have tell me that I am the most `fun` tutor that they have ever had, and that I am `different from any other teacher!` Their parents tell me that their children never `don`t want to come` to me, and that they enjoy their time here. I have often taught more than one child from the family, and have several students who have been coming to me for different subjects over 2 or 3 years, and from primary to secondary school.

Tutors Response :
Thank you so much Adrian...it was a pleasure to work with your son and I looked forward to him arriving! It was sad that world events overtook us because it was great to see how well he approached his learning.
I wish him all the very best for the future and hope that his next stage goes really well.
And thank you for recommending me to others!
Very friendly. Josh enjoyed his time with her and made good progress.
It is a shame she doesn`t have any more time available.
Liz gave my son huge confidence during his SATS and enabled him to perform well and overcome his insecurities. I am sure we will be back to her for more support as we approach GCSE
