After graduating with an English Language and Creative Writing degree eight years ago, I decided to go and live in Thailand and spend some time writing. There I qualified and started teaching English in a secondary school and a private language school. I completely fell in love with teaching when I realised the response I was getting and the improvement I was making to young lives. As I settled into Thai life, I also started teaching police officers and university lecturers in my local area.
My biggest achievement during this time was writing a Christmas play for my school students, and guiding them through the learning and performing. With this play, they then went on to take part in a English speaking competition and won for their local area.

Since moving back to the UK I have worked in various language schools in the south of England and have taught students from all over the world. (Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, India, Poland, Romania and Lithuania to name just a few!) My experience includes helping absolute beginners be able to step out and live a life in this country using English, developing skills of those who want to improve their career prospects or help their children with school work, as well as guiding students to exam success.

As well as helping young people and offering support to pass exams, I have also worked as a Business English Teacher for various large and small companies. My (direct and indirect) clients include Hitachi, Google. GSK, Santander, BNP Paribas and Ferrovial. I am able to work on any subjects of the student`s request but the frequent areas students want to develop their skills in are writing, presentations and meetings, negotiations, listening and interview skills and using the telephone. I am currently compiling and creating my own Business Language Course which I hope will be ready by the end of the year.

MY CREATIVE WORK:
After so many years of teaching and tutoring I have built up a large amount of my own materials which I am making into online courses and also trying to create a book which I want to benefit as many people as possible.

I currently have a television scri pt under consideration by a production company and have just started working on a You Tube children`s series with my partner.

My goal is to continue using my teaching and writing skills to help and support as many people through language as I possibly can.

Availability: At the moment I am available Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Thursday/ Friday afternoon and evenings and weekends.
