I am an LPC graduate of BPP Law School (Waterloo), with distinctions in Business Law, Property and Litigation as well as having taken electives Debt Finance, Private Acquisitions and Employment.
I have developed exam passing techniques for the last 7 years. There`s more to passing exams than just understanding the subject. An individual has got to be able to spot what the question is asking and in turn provide succinct and clear responses. My tutoring technique is tailored to aid students to be confident in doing exams. This I achieve through teaching key examination skills relevant to Law, such as issue spotting/ using the statute books correctly and being able to easily pick out information that is needed from them. Analyzing information quickly and time management techniques.
My students and colleagues describe my style of teaching as coherent and easy to understand. My specialty is to tailor the sessions to passing exams from the word go. I use visual teaching and can impart practical memory skills to help assimilate legal concepts. I am particularly good in crunching down the syllabus, so it doesn’t seem too huge and make learning fun and interesting. I also offer key exam passing techniques I set targets for my students and aid them in their time management techniques, answering questions under pressured time conditions. I also teach my students the key words and phrases needed in legal essays to aid in getting that top distinction mark.
I can offer tuition to LPC students at BPP Law School as I qualified at the same institution.
