I am an enthusiastic and experienced CRB checked Biology tutor with limited spaces for new students for the academic year 15/16 for lessons and/or revision sessions. I teach KS3, GCSE and A level and have helped my students to achieve excellent results. I promote independent study and teach useful study skills. As a Biology with Science and Society graduate, Biology is my passion and I have found that by the end of a couple of sessions with me, my students have found a new love for this once difficult and confusing subject. As a continuing Masters student myself I understand the stresses and strains of preparing for exams and have found an effective way of teaching students to cope more easily. My lessons are fun and even if my students have had a hard day at school they are always feeling motivated by the end of the session!

Recent results include: AS level Biology student, achieved a U grade in January, received tutoring from February to May and then went on to achieve a B grade!

A level Biology student, achieved an excellent A grade (112 UMS out of 120!) and gained her place at UCL to study Audiology.

I am located in the centre of Newton Poppleford near the Post Office, and off-road parking is available directly in front of my house. The area is served by the 52A/B and 157 buses and the bus stop is less than a 1 minute walk away.

Experience: I have taught mainly AS and A level Biology covering a range of exam boards including AQA & Edexcel. I have references from parents of my former students who really started to enjoy and do well in Biology following lessons with me. I have 10 years of teaching experience, also holding a diploma in teaching English as a foreign language, having taught English to adults and children in Paris for 2 years.
