I am a GCSE English Teacher and an exam marker for 30 years. My students always produce outstanding results with more than 85% achieving grades 8 and 9 every year. Most of the students improve by 2 to 4 grades while attending my lessons.

After developing their key skills, students are given rigorous practice in attempting past papers to ensure fast-paced progress. Their work is diligently marked and they are provided with detailed feedback about gaps in their learning, areas to focus and the strategies to achieve the highest grade.

I have written the model answers and step by step guides for all the questions of exam papers of all the major examining boards. Students richly benefit from the model answers when they carry out the gap analysis between their responses and the model answers.

Parents are regularly informed through review meetings about their child`s progress and performance.

All these best practices energise the students to achieve the best result in English Language and Literature.

Availability: Mondays to Fridays 5:30 -09:30 pm.

One-to one lessons are available.
Group lessons of Years 9, 10 and 11 are also available.
Each group lesson is two hours long and costs each student a total of £30.00

Studying English in small groups is academically more competitive for students and financially more affordable for parents.

All students so far have found my group lessons highly effective as individual attention is given to each one of them.
Lessons are not offered at students` homes. Most of the lessons are online.
Face to face lessons are available for the students in the local area.
Before admitting a student, they go through a detailed one-to-one assessment of over 2 hours. Based on the outcome of this assessment, the student and parents are provided with an individual learning plan which is regularly reviewed to assess their progress.
