Information about Gabrielle
My name is Gabrielle and I am a specialist maths tutor with 23 years experience of teaching maths in secondary schools. I have an in-depth understanding of the current mathematics curriculum and effective approaches to teaching at KS3, KS4 and A level. At A Level I am able to offer tuition in Core maths as well as Statistics, Mechanics and Decision maths.
An upbeat and enthusiastic teacher, my students have always found me to be friendly, fun and encouraging. When I am working with a student (whether a young person or an adult) I am quickly able to assess what they need to do to make further progress and to adapt my teaching to meet those needs. Over the years my students have had considerable success in gaining their target grades and levels. Equally importantly they have been able to engage with and enjoy their learning and feel a sense of pride in their achievements.
I am based in [contact detail removed] and can travel locally and to the south side of [contact detail removed]. Alternatively you can come to me. A typical lesson would last an hour but we can be flexible according to your requirements. The fee would depend on the length of lesson and location. Currently this is £;28 per hour if I come to you and £;25 if you come to me.

My daughter had absolutely lost her confidence in her ability to understand maths and Gabrielle restored this and made her feel that she was able to pass her GCSE and fill the gaps in her knowledge. I cannot thank her enough.

I found Gabrielle via this site for my 18 year old daughter who, although had done well in her AS level maths, had lost all confidence when her teachers changed. She was not able to attempt one question in a mock A level paper earlier this year!
Gabrielle has been a brilliant, empathetic tutor and has slowly but surely instilled confidence in my daughter. From the moment she arrives she gets straight down to work and keeps ploughing through for the whole hour to ensure my daughter gets full benefit from the session. She is gently encouraging and knows exactly where to pitch the sessions and what needs to be done. She is a highly experienced maths teacher and this shows!
I would highly recommend Gabrielle.

We`re so relieved that we found Gabrielle. My daughter has attended 4 sessions so far and each time she has come out saying that she`s understanding it better she says that Gabrielle is very patient and explains things really well.
