I am an experienced and qualified teacher with a First class Hons degree in English. I have a detailed understanding of the National Curriculum up to and including GCSE and A-level and have experience of teaching across a wide range of examination boards.

As a dedicated tutor, I am passionate about my subject and I dedicate a lot of time to supporting students, making sure concepts are easy to understand and that effective learning is taking place. I do this through the use of my own dynamic resources and consistent feedback of information to pupils.

I also provide tuition for students who need help writing personal statements for schools/universities.

I am a warm and friendly person who really enjoys working with pupils over a wide range of abilities. I believe students should not be limited, but encouraged to aim high and surpass their own expectations of themselves.
