I am Italian, from Giulianova, Abruzzo. I am currently living in London where I have been working as a freelance Italian language tutor for almost one year. I have experience in teaching different kinds of students at any level and in different learning environments.
I am particularly experienced in one-to-one tuition.
I am enthusiastic and passionate about teaching languages and I feel comfortable in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural setting such as the one London offers. I have a solid background in Applied Linguistics and in modern language teaching methods and techniques. I have a detailed knowledge of communicative and task-based approaches and generally in any strategy that emphasizes the active involvement of students and enhances their motivation for learning and using a new language. I am also deeply interested in the employment of new technologies for language teaching and particularly in online language learning.
