I tutor 11+, 13+, and GCSE across the core subjects (Maths, English, Sciences) and coach critical reasoning and effective essay writing across the humanities both at GCSE and A-level. I help with writing personal statements and academic or creative writing of any kind.

I have an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method from the London School of Economics and an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art. I am a practising artist, writer, and voice actor. I approach tutoring as mentoring, attuning to each tutee`s learning style, pace, and needs.

I enjoy the challenge of developing efficient study plans with a particular aim to spark and retain the student`s passion to learn. I make frequent use of examples and analogies, stories and animations, games and dynamic visual aids, all of the tools that make information retention easier. I support all students with constructive and comprehensive feedback throughout their learning.

My background in contemporary art and writing, and having had influential mentors myself, has a great impact on my mentoring style that balances efficiency and academic excellence with with empathy and general support.

Experience: I have 4 years of experience working with school pupils. I tutored UK-based and international students ahead of their boarding school entrance exams, with most getting multiple offers, including their first choice. I have also worked with mature students on their successful university applications, both in the UK and internationally. References available on request.

I have developed and led writing workshops and taught creative and experimental writing and contemporary art theory to undergraduate students at the Athens School of Fine Art and graduate students at the Royal College of Art in London.
