I have just finished a degree in English Language and Literature at Brasenose College, Oxford, specialising in Medievalism
I am moving to London this summer in order to complete a Law conversion at the University of Law, and will be working as a trainee solicitor once qualified.
Being an English student has given me an incredibly broad learning base and allowed me to widen my interests in politics, history, geography, languages, psychology and science far beyond my books alone.
As well as specialising in humanities I am able to tutor the majority of subjects up to GCSE please feel free to discuss.
Preparation for university application and interview is my speciality.
I am active, engaging and encouraging, and strive to make my pupils really believe in and love what they are working on. This, I think, makes all the difference when it comes to learning or exams at any level.
Availability: I am available weekday evenings and some weekday afternoons, and all weekends.

Experience: I have a huge amount of experience working with children, as I am employed by the YMCA to lead activities at one of the South`s largest outdoor adventure centres, Fairthorne Manor. This employment means I have received full behaviour management and child protection training.
As part of an ongoing outreach programme I also regularly tutor pupils from my old school and sixth form, coaching students from Year 7 special needs to A-level Oxbridge applicants. I also taught whole classes, giving me experience of motivating a wide variety of individuals at the same time.
I worked on a number of university outreach projects while at Oxford, mentoring and encouraging young potential applicants and providing interview workshops and skills sessions.
I am also a fully-trained Peer Supporter and have undergone 40 hours` worth of training in confidentiality, crisis management and listening skills.
