Experienced in elevating pupils grades. For example, in 2023, a cohort I taught who had missed a significant amount of schooling went from 2/3 grades in December to 5/6 by GCSE exams.

I am a relaxed, friendly teacher who has always had excellent feedback.

I love working with kids and have a full DBS.

I teach all three of the Sciences, both AQA and Edexcell.

Experience: I have been in senior leadership for 4 years, most recently as a Head of School. In addition, I have been a Deputy Headteacher and Head of Department (science).

I have also taught in both specialist schools and mainstream schools for the last 14 years working with a range of abilities from the gifted and talented (grade 9 pupils) to pupils with a range of learning and emotional needs.

I am a specialist with pupils who have speech and language difficulties, SEMH and ASC. I am highly skilled in ‘filling the gaps’ and moving pupils forward at least a grade or two in a short period of time.

Science is a challenging subject but with the right tuition any pupil can achieve what they need.
