Hi, my name is Lily. I`m a native English speaker and I`m a qualified and experienced teacher of English as a foreign language. I`m 24 years old and I come from Leeds, England. Since I left Leeds, I`ve lived in London, Bordeaux and Northern Greece, and I`ve got a degree from UCL in European Social & Political Studies. I`ve been living in Edinburgh for a few months now and I`m working as a Learning Assistant for a child with additional needs in a primary school, and in a bar. In my free time, I like spending time with friends and getting to know Edinburgh by going for walks and exploring new corners.

Availability: I am available to teach English lessons or provide conversation practice. Times and locations are flexible and I can tailor classes to your needs! Prices can be reduced for conversation practice, or if classes can take place in Stockbridge.

Experience: I`m a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language, passing the CELTA from UCL with a Pass A. I was particularly praised in my teaching practice for my warm and motivating teaching style, and for being flexible and personalising my lessons. After passing my CELTA, I worked for one year teaching English to classes of adult learners in Greece. My students have been of all levels, from teaching them to read and write in our alphabet, to advanced learners. I also have other experience tutoring, working with children and working in education. I have tutored teenagers in History, I have worked as a babysitter and I have run children`s activities such as yoga, arts & crafts and sports.
