Hi I am a second year Physics student at the university of York.
I love to share the passion that I feel for maths with others. I feel that I am a patient person who gets along with most people. I enjoy meeting new people from all backgrounds and thrive on the challenge that discovering an individuals best learning style involves.
I achieved an A at GCSE maths and an A at a level, however I didn`t find it all a breeze I had dyslexia and so have personal experience of how challenging certain learning tasks can be, and therefore can sympathise with students of all ages having a hard time, and share in their joy when success is made.
I spent two years volunteering with children with disabilities and from this I learnt how to be flexible in teaching methods and work on tailoring my teaching style to the individual.
I also volunteered as a classroom assistant in a GCSE class for a few terms and really enjoyed seeing students achieving in areas where they previously experienced problems.
Ultimately I enjoy learning and try my hardest to pass on that love to all my tutees.
