I obtained my MSc degree (Pass with Distinction) in Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry at Loughborough University. I pursued this course after completing a BSc. (Honours) degree in Chemistry at Nottingham Trent University, in which I gained a First Class Honours. I was awarded a prize in recognition of achievements for my A level grades and I was also awarded the Chemistry Prize for outstanding performance in both my first and second academic year of my BSc degree programme.
Availability: I am available the following times:
Mondays: 6pm to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12pm to 8pm
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been offering tutorial lessons since I was a university student in maths, science and in A level chemistry and also I am currently tutoring students in GCSE maths and science and in A level chemistry assisting them to build upon their knowledge and understanding and increase their confidence. My present role as a senior science technician within a school setting has enabled me to learn to value each pupil as an individual with a unique ability. I have also had the opportunity working with young people within secondary schools assisting with daily science experiments such as basic titrations, distillations, osmosis, photosynthesis, microbial cultures and investigating force, mass and acceleration. Working as a science technician has also expanded my knowledge and understanding in all the different exams boards such as AQA, Edexcel and many more. As a result, I am able to adjust my teaching sessions accordingly to the students specific needs to fully reach their potential.
