Information about Christina
I provide first-class tutoring in public law, constitutional law, administrative law, human rights law, tort law, data protection law and EU law. I have a strong track record of preparing students for exams and assisting them with essays, undergraduate and postgraduate theses and other assignments and coursework.
My key strengths are my ability to explain complex legal issues clearly, my detailed preparation for every class and my experience in providing detailed and constructive feedback on written work.
If you are struggling with any of the above law subjects or want to aim for higher grade than you are currently on track for, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss how I can assist you.
Apart from providing tuition in substantive subject areas I am also happy to assist with applications for legal jobs, university places, volunteering positions and scholarships, having in the past successfully applied to similar positions and awards myself, e.g.:
- Pupillage and Mini-Pupillages;
- Research Assistant Roles;
- London Arts & Humanities Partnership scholarship;
- The Modern Law Review scholarship;
- City, University of London scholarship;
- Middle Temple Queen Mother Scholarship;
- Middle Temple Jules Thorn Scholarship;
- Clifford Chance Proxime Accessit award;
- University of Law Full Fees scholarship.
Specifically, in this area I am happy to assist students with interview preparation, personal statements and CVs etc.

Experience: I hold a PhD from UCL (pass without corrections), a BPTC from City (Very Competent), a GDL from the University of Law (Pass: Exempt) an MJur from the University of Oxford (Distinction, second in year) and an LL.B. from the University of Maastricht (Distinction, first in year). I also recently qualified as a mediator.
I am currently a pupil barrister at a leading public law set.
My research has been published in peer-reviewed law journals, including `Legal Studies` and `Public Law` and I regularly contribute to legal blogs and speak at international conferences.
I have taught extensively, including at university level. For example, I was a Public Law Teaching Fellow at UCL in 2016-2017 and I also taught the Uni-Link stream under UCL`s widening access scheme. I also held a teaching role at David Game College that year. In addition, I have taught law privately at secondary school, undergraduate and postgraduate level for over five years, and I have accumulated +350 hours of teaching experience. This includes substantive subject tuition (e.g. public law, tort law) as well as feedback on and tuition in drafting, including skeleton arguments, opinions, and pleadings, and I also coach people to improve their oral advocacy.
Feedback For Christina (7)
I worked with Christina to prepare for a GDL scholarship interview. Her knowledge of how the interviews worked, and the law itself was enormously helpful. She was prompt and professional, and my confidence grew significantly whilst working with her. She gave through, nuanced and critical feedback that gave me a deeper insight into the work I was doing, and helped me to accomplish my goals in a more focused way. Thank you Christina.
Christina is a wonderful teacher and has really helped me with my research proposal. I was quite lost at the start, however, Christina went above and beyond what I expected to ensure that I understood what was required and has helped to shape my proposal. I am very pleased with Christina`s tutoring and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for tuition.
Christina helped me with Public and EU law and I found her to be a wonderful teacher. She is kind, generous with her time and attention as well as highly intelligent. I could not recommend her more strongly. Thank you, Christina, for all your help.
Christina is brilliant. I am studying EU law at degree level and was so confused about the module. She explained the content in such a clear and understandable way and sent me loads of revision materials to help me understand. I now feel more confident for my EU exam. I cant recommend her help highly enough!
Christina is a remarkable tutor. She is highly specialised in the area of constitutional and administrative law, and provides comprehensive feedback on written work. Also, she is very kind and professional.
Christina is an amazing tutor. She taught me EU law and helped me with my coursework. I enjoyed the tuition sessions and have received 70% overall in my EU module and I know I wouldn`t have achieved such great marks without her help. I would not hesitate to recommend Christina to any students looking for an experienced and knowledgable tutor.
Christina was such a great help and really helped me to understand a module that I was completely clueless about. She was so lovely to work with, and I don`t think I could have had a nicer person to tutor me. Thank you so much Christina!
