Hello, my name is Philipp and I’m a private tutor from Germany with around a year of experience in tutoring. I have two Master’s degrees from the University of Oxford (MSt Philosophical Theology 2018) and the University of St Andrews (MLitt Philosophy 2017). Before I came to the UK, I studied philosophy, social sciences, and mathematics at the University of Leipzig and the University of Vienna from 2012 to 2016. I’m a native German speaker and have an excellent understanding of German grammar and possess a rich vocabulary that’s suited both to formal and informal contexts of all kinds – even topics that most native German speakers struggle with (e.g. punctuation) pose no challenge to me. Currently, I’m working in linguistics research in Berlin.
In particular, I’m offering lessons in German, Mathematics, Philosophy, Sociology, and Humanities. I try to make my lessons interesting while at the same time focusing on exam performance. I’m happy to offer lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
