I am a fully qualified teacher with 6 years experience, and 3 years leading as a Head of Department. I am a Sociology academic with a PGCE, QTS and hundreds of hours of experience delivering Social Science lessons.

I work at a high performing secondary school/sixth form in Barnet where I am Head of Sociology. I also have years of experience working for the exam board AQA. This mainly involves networking with other experienced Sociology teachers, creating learning resources and reviewing Sociology exam papers.

My particular expertise is A-Level and GCSE Sociology, as it is my degree and teaching degree subject. However, I am also experienced with AQA Psychology, BTEC Health & Social Care and BTEC Business.

My approach to tutoring is firstly to create an atmosphere where the tutee is able to access the subject with confidence and comfort. I believe that as learners, we all have different needs, learning styles and support requirements, and I am able to adapt my approach to best suit your needs.

Experience: I have worked in a number of schools in the London and Kent areas.

I have worked with many exam boards, in particular AQA, but also WJEC, Edexcel and OCR.

I have worked in many countries in educational settings, such as The USA and The Maldives.
