Hello,
My passion is working with children, nurturing and encouraging them to fulfill their potential. I am fortunate enough to be able to do this on a daily basis. Through a 5 years experience of working in the classroom with a class full of students, small groups or individuals I have accumulated strategies to guide children to their intended learning objectives.
I feel it is imperative that the learning is engaging to ensure optimum progress.

Availability: I am available on all evenings except Mondays. I am also available at the weekend.

Experience: I have been employed in a primary school for the past 5 years. All of my experience involves working with Key stage 2 children. I teach and support classes in years 3, 4, 5 and 6. These lessons have included every subject across the curriculum. I predominantly work with children in year 6 and my main working objective has been getting children ready for their SAT`s exams. I have worked with individual children, small groups and whole classes. I have had the opportunity to not only work with those children who are working above their age related expectations but also those who are working below the expectations and have had the challenge of helping them to improve. On a daily basis I work with children with a range of abilities and home languages. I also do intervention Math lessons for children before their school day begins with the primary aim to fill any gaps in their learning to help ensure they are ready for their SAT`s.
