Ollie

Hi, my name is Ollie and I currently study Biochemistry at Oxford University, and I am fascinated in how chemistry works within cells and biological systems. I really enjoyed studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at school and my goal is to not only allow students to improve and solidify their knowledge of these subjects, but to spark some enthusiasm about them too. I aim to give engaging, informative and fun tutorials, which focus on the topics that the student finds most challenging. Currently, I am part of the Chemistry Society at Oxford and attend non-compulsory lectures to extend my knowledge. Having passed the Oxford interview process, I am also able to share some advice on preparing for them, my personal experience and debunking any common myths about them. In my spare time, I play the flute, piano and I like to sing, having been part of an orchestra for 7 years.

Availability: I am available this summer during the whole of July, August and September.

In secondary school and sixth form, I participated in a peer mentoring scheme where I would tutor students in lower years in GCSE Maths and AS Chemistry, so I have experience in explaining challenging concepts and helping to resolve difficulties.
