My name is Valentina and I am an experienced and professional native Italian language and literature Teacher. I have been tutoring for over 8 years both in Italy and Uk, both with children and adults from all levels.
Last year I tough Italian at the prestigious Lorenzo De Medici Institute in Rome (Italy).

Our aim is promoting Italian language and culture through the delivery of several services and activities such as Italian classes for children, young learners and adults, travel consultancy, copywriting for business, cross-cultural training and funny Italian language-cooking classes for amateurs.


I know the uniqueness of each student and this is important to me to understand their individual needs. I always try to do my best in my lessons. Because every student is unique I like to use different kinds of material for preparing lessons. I also love integrate the study of the language with cultural background tips wich are very important if you want to use the language for travelling or working. I really love my teaching job and really love Italian culture.
I`m also a researcher in Italian Studies, I gained a Phd in Italian Studies at the University of Reading. I`m skilled in contemporary Italian literature and language, Italian culture and heritage and in creative writing. I am also a poet/ writer, I have published poetry books, academic essays and journal articles.
