STRONG COMMUNICATOR: Confident, affable and approachable in all communications with colleagues and delegates, I find it easy to talk to, and work with, people of all ages and backgrounds. I express my helpful and trustworthy approach by demonstrating active listening and working to build rapport.
WORRIED ABOUT RESEARCH METHODS AT A LEVEL: An understanding of research methods will significantly influence your final grade at A level. Schools and colleges often teach research methods in the first academic term and revisit infrequently resulting in difficultly for many students to bring the information together to understand research methods as a whole. Understanding research methods is an absolute necessity to master psychology A level as this knowledge must be applied to studies and theories throughout the examination. Research methods is my thing and I can teach you this quickly and efficiently.
CONSIDERING PSYCHOLOGY A LEVEL: Psychology is infrequently studied at GCSE in schools and often students begin this subject at A level. Teaching A level myself, I have come to find that many students embark on this A level, without fully comprehending the discipline of psychology and what it entails before signing up and drop out when it turns out to be not as they expect. With this in mind I offer potential psychology students considering A level a tutoring hour to open their minds to psychological studies to make an informed decision should you decide to pursue psychology at A level.
CONSIDERING A PSYCHOLOGY DEGREE: The most common reason potential students are refused a place to study at university level is because they fail to demonstrate suitable awareness of the subject area at interview.
I offer tutoring sessions to develop knowledge of psychological theories and concepts.
