I have a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Leeds, with a year abroad studying at the University of California Los Angeles. I am working at the Surrey Research Park having recently moved from Yorkshire to Guildford.

I loved my physics degree and hopefully this reflects in how I teach. I was fortunate enough to have great physics teachers during my secondary and A-level education and this was definitely a driving force to my educational and career path. I understand that a good teacher can make all the difference.

I will always offer the first session for free as an opportunity to see if the tutee feels comfortable with me and my style of teaching. I am tutoring because I like maths and science and a good teacher/student match is far more important than any other benefit I could gain.

Availability: Evenings, early mornings and Weekends, I have my own car so can drive to your house or I can tutor at my own home.

I work at the surrey research park from 8.30-5.30 during weekdays. However occasionally my job requires me to work evenings or travel for up to a week. I will always let you know if I have to cancel/rearrange a session as early as I can.

As well as tutoring on a regular basis (each week) I would still enjoy teaching specifically for revision e.g half a day, a few hours all in one week, over holiday periods.

Experience: I have previously tutored through mentoring schemes and have always received positive feedback. I am looking to tutor in Maths and Physics up to A level. Additionally, I can tutor general science including GCSE double award.
